Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
Upon receiving a valid and complete DMCA notice, we will:
✔ Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
✔ Notify the user who posted the content (if applicable).
✔ Provide the user with a copy of the DMCA notice.
We reserve the right to ignore incomplete or improperly filed notices.
Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe your content was wrongfully removed, you may submit a counter-notice containing:
- Your contact details (name, address, phone, email).
- Identification of the removed content and its original location.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake (e.g., due to misidentification or fair use).
- Consent to jurisdiction in your local federal district court (if in the U.S.) or acceptance of service from the notifying party.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content within 10-14 business days unless the original claimant files a legal action.
Repeat Infringers Policy
Education Hub maintains a strict “three-strike” policy against repeat copyright violators. Users who repeatedly post infringing content may face:
- Account suspension
- Permanent ban from the website
Limitation of Liability
- We act as an intermediary service provider under the DMCA’s “safe harbor” provisions.
- We are not responsible for user-generated content but will comply with valid takedown requests.
- We do not mediate copyright disputes beyond DMCA compliance.
