Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

Upon receiving a valid and complete DMCA notice, we will:
✔ Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
✔ Notify the user who posted the content (if applicable).
✔ Provide the user with a copy of the DMCA notice.

We reserve the right to ignore incomplete or improperly filed notices.

Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe your content was wrongfully removed, you may submit a counter-notice containing:

  1. Your contact details (name, address, phone, email).
  2. Identification of the removed content and its original location.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake (e.g., due to misidentification or fair use).
  4. Consent to jurisdiction in your local federal district court (if in the U.S.) or acceptance of service from the notifying party.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content within 10-14 business days unless the original claimant files a legal action.

Repeat Infringers Policy

Education Hub maintains a strict “three-strike” policy against repeat copyright violators. Users who repeatedly post infringing content may face:

  • Account suspension
  • Permanent ban from the website

Limitation of Liability

  • We act as an intermediary service provider under the DMCA’s “safe harbor” provisions.
  • We are not responsible for user-generated content but will comply with valid takedown requests.
  • We do not mediate copyright disputes beyond DMCA compliance.
